Innovator of computing, network and storage solutions, QNAP, a brand of ARMORLINK, and CyberLink (CYBERLINK CORP.) have jointly launched a new version of the QVR FACE LINK face recognition analysis solution, which integrates the FACEME® AI face recognition engine. Through AI technology, it can detect whether people wear masks, and simultaneously perform face recognition to meet the needs of non-contact biometric identification in the post-epidemic era.
QVR FACE can integrate RTSP streaming cameras and APIs to interface with third-party systems, analyze any standard RTSP format camera streaming images in real time, and achieve fast and automated face recognition and analysis. By integrating FACEME® AI face recognition engine, users only need to provide a full facial image to complete the creation.When performing face recognition, even if a mask is present, QVR FACE LINK can still recognize the face, which corresponds to the personnel file (PROFILE). This brings about a new type of contactless monitoring service in medical institutions and various places where masks are required at any given time.

Whether it is in areas of restricted assess, places where non-contact identification is particularly required, or environments where users’ personal data privacy is highly emphasized and protected, QVR FACE LINK is a newer and better choice. Similarly, QVR FACE LINK can also be combined with services such as QNAP QVR PRO and QVR DOORACCESS to provide basic video surveillance. Meanwhile, it can also be combined with access control and duty management systems, which is in line with the system requirements in recent years and can effectively reduce the risk of infection resulted from removing masks and exposing faces.”
